On November 12, Professor Li Gongsheng, Dean of School of Mathematics and Statistics, Shandong University of Technology, delivered a report entitled On the Inverse Problem of Mathematics Physics in Jinming Campus. Teachers, postgraduates and over 150 undergraduates from School of Mathematics and Statistics attended the lecture.
Professor Li Gongsheng firstly introduced the research of mathematical science, mathematics and interdisciplinary science from the perspective of the history of calculus. Secondly, he introduced the research of applied mathematics and inverse problem of mathematical physics. Thirdly, he introduced the inverse problem and regularization method, giving the mathematical formulation and characteristics of inverse problem, and introduced the regularization strategy. In the end, he told something with personal experience.
Professor Li Gongsheng, dean of School of Mathematics and Statistics, Shandong University of Technology, with doctor's degree in Computational Mathematics. He is a member of the Chinese Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics, a member of the Mathematical Model Professional Committee, a member of the Shandong Provincial Mathematics Association and Computational Mathematics Professional Committee, and a member of the Shandong Provincial Undergraduate Education Mathematics Teaching Guidance Committee. He mainly studies mathematical physics inverse problem, solute transport model, fractional order anomalous diffusion model simulation and related inverse problems. He has presided over (completed) 5 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and 3 projects of Shandong Natural Science Foundation. He has published more than 70 academic papers in IP. JIIP, IPSE and Computational Mathematics and 1 monograph.
