Recently, Henan Key Laboratory of Brain-Targeting Biological Nanomedicine and Henan Key Laboratory of Earth System Observation and Simulation, which are applied by HENU, are approved by the Science and Technology Department of Henan Province.

Relying on both of School of Life Sciences and School of Pharmacy, the Key Laboratory of Brain-targeted Biological Nanomedicine utilizes biological nanotechnology to carry out research on the molecular mechanism, diagnostic technology and drug treatment of brain diseases.

Supported by the College of Environment and Planning, the Key Laboratory of Earth System Observation and Modeling will conduct research in three areas: atmosphere-/ground-/space-based comprehensive monitoring; intelligent data assimilation and down/up scaling of multi-source and multi-scale data; and dynamic decision-making by modeling and optimizing human-nature coupled systems.
