On February 27th, a delegation of 7 people from Taurida National V.I. Vernadsky University, Ukraine, led by President Volodymyr, vice president Ella and assistant president Andre, visited HENU. HENU vice president SUN Junjian met with the guests at the International Cooperation and Exchange Office.

SUN Junjian introduced to the guests the history, discipline characteristics and the basic situation of international running of HENU. He said that HENU attached great importance to exchanges and cooperation with colleges and universities along the “One Belt and One Way” area. It was hoped that the two universities could exchange views in depth, focusing on cooperation in teacher and student exchanges and joint research in medical and sports fields, so as to provide high-quality and efficient communication platform for teachers and students.

Volodymyr introduced the general situation of Taurida National V.I. Vernadsky University and the development plan of international exchanges. He said that the University is full of hope for cooperation with HENU. He believed that the two universities could reach agreement on specific details of cooperation as soon as possible, carry out substantive cooperation and gradually expand the cooperation areas, benefiting both teachers and students.

On behalf of the University, Volodymyr invited SUN Junjian and the relevant officials to visit Taurida National V.I. Vernadsky University. Representatives of the two universities discussed the details of cooperation in depth.

At the meeting, the two universities signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation.
