On April 16th, a delegation from University of Miami led by Juan ALVAREZ, deputy director of Admissions of University of Miami, visited Henan University. HENU vice president SUN Junjian met with the guests.

SUN Junjian said that the People’s Government of Henan Province and Henan University had given great support to Miami College of HENU in policies and funds. He hoped that the two universities would cooperate and exchange in more fields by the opportunity of renewing the agreement, promoting the rapid development of Miami College of HENU.

During the meeting, the signing ceremony of renewing the cooperation agreement between the two universities was held.

The delegation visited the Miami College of HENU. The relevant responsible persons of HENU International Exchange Office and the Miami College held a formal meeting with the delegation. Michel ALVAREZ, member of the delegation and the executive director of the English Intensive Learning Center of University of Miami, conducted in-depth discussions with the representatives of the teaching staff of HENU International Language Teaching Center and the responsible persons of Miami College on English teaching model and target, curriculum setting and the new cooperation mode. Juan ALVAREZ and member of the delegation, the admissions director of University of Miami College of Engineering David PUER held a meeting with the 2016 class students who had applied for further study in the University of Miami, and made a lecture on the enrollment process of University of Miami for the 2017 class students.

The visit of University of Miami is an annual regular visit according to the cooperation of the two universities.
