HENU wins five consecutive championships! Yueyao Li, a graduate student of Wushu College, will join in the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou as a representative of China.

Recently, the 2023 Trials of the National Wushu Routine and Sanda Competition of the 19thAsian Games Hangzhou ended in Fangshan, Beijing. Yueyao Li, a postgraduate student of the Wushu College of HENU, won the women's 52kg Sanda championship and was qualified for the 19thAsian Games Hangzhou-Wushu Sanda Competition by dint of five consecutive championships and the highest total points.


It is reported that the trails were for individual programs. Organized by the Wushu Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the trials invited outstanding athletes from colleges and universities nationwide. And through the selection competitions, the best of them will form the National Wushu Routine Team and Sanda Team to compete in the 19thAsian Games Hangzhou on behalf of China.
