On March 29, Henan University (HENU) and the Southern Federal University (SFEDU) held the 2023 first meeting of HENU-SFEDU Joint Management Committee for Cooperative Education. Held in Jinming Campus online and offline, the conference was attended by Shenglei Fu, Vice President of HENU, Maxim Germanovich Bondarev, Vice-Rector of SFEDU, and relevant responsible personnel from the International Innovation Affairs Bureau, the School of Architecture and Art, and the School of Language Journalism and Intercultural Communication of SFEDU as well as the heads from the International Affairs Office, the Academy of Fine Arts, the School of Foreign Languages, and the Eurasian International School of HENU. The meeting was presided over by Chengxin Zhao, dean of Eurasian International School.

At the meeting, Shenglei Fu introduced the collaborative history between HENU and SFEDU, and highly praised the friendly cooperative relationship between the two sides. He mentioned that the two universities had reached close cooperation in the past ten years in teacher deployment, curriculum and teaching, teacher-student exchange, and teaching quality monitoring, and had achieved extraordinary results. It was expected that the two sides would further deepen cooperation and exchanges, and carry out high-level academic and scientific research cooperation and exchanges.

Later, Maxim Germanovich Bondarev introduced the plan for the 110^th anniversary of SFEDU. He said that the international cooperation program between HENU and SFEDU had been very successful, which offered valuable and rich experience for SFEDU. He said that he would fully support the two sides to further expand cooperation and accelerate the cooperation in talent training programs for postgraduates.

Subsequently, all of the guests had in-depth discussions on the achievements of the cooperative school-running program, the academic activities of the Russian Research Center, the establishment of the Research and Innovation Center for Art and Design of SFEDU, and affairs related to the cooperative school-running program at the master's level, such as the teacher training, and mutual visits and exchanges between teachers and students. They have reached consensus on those affairs.
