HENU wins silver and bronze awards in the 13th "Challenge Cup" China College Students Business Plan Competition


     


Recently, the finale of the 13th "Challenge Cup" China College Students Business Plan Competition was held in Liangxiang Campus of Beijing Institute of Technology, with more than 800 teachers and students from universities around China joining in. Through fierce competition, HENU won two awards. The "Fun Camp - A Leader in Study Travel Holistic Education" program from the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture won the Silver Award. The "Micro-Nano Technology - China's First Self-developed Nanoscale Ultramicrotome" program from the School of Life Sciences won the Bronze Award.


The team members of the "Fun Camp - A Leader in Study Travel Holistic Education" program have established expert and lecturer groups in camp industry at home and abroad and formed the capability evaluation model and standard of tutors in China's camp education industry that provide vocational training, headhunting consultants, conferences and exhibitions, enterprise consulting and other services for the industry. The research team of "Micro-nano Technology – China's First Self-developed Nanoscale Ultramicrotome" has successfully developed the first nanoscale ultra-microtome in China to help the development of China's scientific research.


It is reported that the 13th "Challenge Cup" China College Students Business Plan Competition is sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Ministry of Education of PRC, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of PRC, the China Association for Science and Technology, the All-China Students' Federation, and the Beijing Municipal People's Government, and is organized by Beijing Institute of Technology, the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the People's Government of Fangshan District of Beijing. There were a total of 1,424,000 students from 3,011 universities participating in the Competition, with more than 330,000 innovation and entrepreneurship projects. The Competition finally selected 154 gold award works, 309 silver award works and 1,079 bronze works.
