From November 15 to 20, the 17^th Henan Provincial Martial Arts Championship was held, with a total of 771 participants from 54 colleges and universities in Henan province.

According to the results of the competition, HENU team won 18 gold medals, 14 silver medals and 9 bronze medals in total, under the leadership of team leaders Hao Hong and Chunyang Guo, as well as coaches Bo Sun, Shuai Cao, Qiang Li and Yanzhao Chen. The team ranked first among the 54 participating universities with a total score of 423 points. At the competition, the Undergraduate Men's Group C won the first place with 192 points, the Undergraduate Women's Group C won the first place with 151 points, and the Undergraduate Women's Group A ranked the second place with 67 points. The collective event Sanda won the first place. In addition, the HENU martial arts team was given the Sportsmanship Award.
