On February 27, the signing ceremony between HENU and the Ganjiang Innovation Academy of Chinese Academy of Sciences was held at Zhengzhou Campus. The ceremony was attended by Tao Qi, dean of the Ganjiang Innovation Academy of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Suojiang Zhang, president of HENU, Zhen Tan, vice president of HENU, as well as leaders from the Institute, and heads from relevant departments and colleges. The ceremony was presided over by Zhen Tan.

At the ceremony, Zhen Tan introduced the history and current situation of HENU. She expressed sincere gratitude to the Ganjiang Innovation Academy of Chinese Academy of Sciences for its strong support to HENU.

Tao Qi expressed that the signing would bring mutual promotion and sharing of scientific research achievements between both parties and accelerate the in-depth cooperation and integrated development of the two parties in fostering innovative talents, advancing scientific and technological projects, developing high-end platforms, and pursuing major achievements.

Suojiang Zhang suggested that both sides should give full play to their respective advantages, to bring new cooperation mechanisms and new cooperation models. He believed this signing would lead to the development of new research fields and the empowerment for high-quality development of regional economy.

Accompanied by all participants at the ceremony, representatives of both parties signed a cooperation agreement.
