Henan University (HEHU) together with the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology, and Institute of Biophysics of Chinese Academy of Sciences hold the 2022 Exploration-Life Science Online Forum, one of the academic activities for the 110^th anniversary of Henan University, on May 29. The Forum invited Prof. Xingjie Liang, editor-in-chief of Exploration, Dr. Guangchen Xu, director of Wiley Publishing Group in China, Prof. Yang Bing, executive editor-in-chief of Exploration, to be the chairmen; invited Prof. Yuanyu Huang, associate editor-in-chief, Life Science of Exploration, and Researcher Kelong Fang to be the executive chairmen.

The forum was broadcasted on platform KouShare, with a total of 12,035 researchers joining in.

With an aim to discuss academic frontiers and major scientific issues in the world, the forum invited 22 scholars famous at home and abroad, including the editorial board of Exploration, the Life Science editorial board of Exploration and academic editors, to give reports on life sciences and the frontier interface fields like single virus tracing, tumor treatment, and the research and development of vaccine. The participants also shared opinions with on other popular fields concerning life sciences, technology industrialization and national needs.

The journal Exploration was founded by Henan University together with the Nanobiology Branch of the Biophysical Society of China and Wiley Publishing Group with the expectation to become an advanced comprehensive international academic journal of Henan University.
