The morning of January 13 witnessed the official opening of the online six-day 2022 International Winter Camp for Excellent College Students, held by the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Henan University. More than 260 excellent college students from more than 20 colleges and universities participated in the camp online. Attended the opening ceremony were Vice President Feng Shuxia, Vice President of HENU, Miao Chen, Executive Vice-president of the Graduate School, Mao Liqun, Director of the Department of International Affairs Office, members of the school leadership and representatives of the teaching staff.

At the winter camp, famous experts from the United States, France and China were invited to give more than ten lecturers in which they share their knowledge about mathematics and statistics with an aim to expand students’ academic vision and stimulate their innovation consciousness. Besides, students were allowed access to the history and admissions policies of HENU, which would further improve the quality of graduate students.
