Recently, the opening ceremony of the Yellow River National Cultural Park Research Institute, which was jointly established by Culture and Tourism Department of Henan Province and Henan University, was held in Henan University. Li Yanqing, Deputy Director of Culture and Tourism Department of Henan Province, Sun Junjian, Vice President of HENU, signed the Framework Agreement and unveiled the plague for the Institute. Miao Changhong, Director of the Yellow River Civilization and Sustainable Development Research Center of HENU, presided over the signing ceremony.

Sun Junjian pointed out that the Culture and Tourism Department of Henan Province has taken the lead in promoting the construction of the Yellow River National Cultural Park. HENU has been conducting research on Yellow River culture, Yellow River civilization and Yellow River science for long, and takes the lead in the overall level and internationalization of Yellow River culture research in China.

Li Yanqing hoped that the Yellow River National Cultural Park would become a scientific research hub, talent training base, academic exchange platform to promote ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin, and make due contributions to the promotion of ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin.

It is reported that this is the first research institution in China to take the Yellow River National Cultural Park as main research object. According to the agreement, the Culture and Tourism Department of Henan Province and HENU will strengthen cooperation in the areas of Yellow River cultural research and interpretation, planning and construction of the Yellow River cultural heritage protection corridor, and construction and protection of the Yellow River National Cultural Park, enhance the cohesion and influence of the Yellow River culture, and promote the planning and construction of the Yellow River National Cultural Park and the construction and high-quality development of the Yellow River cultural tourism belt.
