In celebrating the 110th anniversary of Henan University (HENU), the 2022 Exploration - Energy International Online Forum, jointly hosted by HENU, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing "Orderly Energy Conversion" Basic Science Center of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Nanyang Technological University, and the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, was held from July 9th to 10th.
The forum invited Prof. Qingyu Yan from Nanyang Technological University and the deputy editor of Exploration-Energy, Prof. Won-Jang Ho from Seoul National University, and Prof. Jingjing Duan from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, as the executive chairmen of the conference. Dr. Guangchen Xu, director of Wiley Publishing Group in China, Prof. Xingjie Liang, editor-in-chief of Exploration, and Prof. Yang Bing, executive editor-in-chief of Exploration, attended the opening ceremony.
The conference also invited 22 scientists influential in the field of cutting-edge scientific research as guests, including Prof. Shizhang Qiao from the University of Adelaide, Prof. Chunyi Zhi from City University of Hong Kong, and Prof. Yan Yu from the University of Science and Technology of China. They delivered reports on interdisciplinary frontiers in energy like carbon neutrality, solar energy utilization and energy catalysis. They also discussed major scientific issues and shared their new and strategic opinions from the long-term point of view.
The conference was live broadcast through KouShare and Research Cloud, which attracted more than 50,000 viewers.
